Your Role:
As DevOps Manager, you’ll be responsible for shaping our cloud infrastructure, event-driven architecture, and microservices strategy. You’ll lead a skilled team, ensuring seamless deployments and robust system performance, all while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of developers and DevOps engineers, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
- Oversee and troubleshoot Kafka brokers, ensuring stability and efficiency.
- Manage and optimise public cloud environments (AWS).
- Work with microservices architectures, ensuring scalability and resilience.
- Implement and maintain containerisation strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Drive best practices in event-driven architecture and real-time data processing.
- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction across the DevOps and software development teams.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, delivering presentations and clear technical insights.
- Manage workload efficiently, ensuring prioritisation of tasks under pressure.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience in a DevOps leadership or team management role.
- Strong expertise in Kafka administration and diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
- In-depth understanding of microservices architecture and best practices.
- Skilled in containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to present ideas clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
- A strategic vision for platform technologies within a modern development environment.
- Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
