The Role
We are currently looking for a 1st line Support engineer to join a dynamic IT team as a 1st Line Support Engineer and make a difference in a growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
As a 1st Line Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for technical issues and support requests, ensuring smooth operations for all users. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems.
- Troubleshooting mobile devices, desktop systems, printers, and scanners.
- Installing and configuring hardware, with strong PC configuration skills.
- Providing remote and on-site technical support.
Required Technical Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
- Mobile and desktop support experience.
- Knowledge of printers, scanners, and general hardware configuration.
Personal Skills:
- A proactive attitude with a desire to develop and succeed.
- Excellent communication skills, suitable for users at all technical levels.
- Exemplary telephone manner.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and resolution skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships and trust.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
- Working towards Microsoft Certifications.
- Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
- Backup monitoring and management knowledge.
- Networking experience, including LAN/WAN and firewalls.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles.
- Proficiency in creating network documentation.
- Experience with remote support tools, helpdesk systems, and monitoring software.
