Responsibilities of the role:
  • Design the functionality of the flight control system
  • Review and approve the system requirements
  • Write the code that makes it all work
  • Integrate your code with other systems on the aircraft
  • Generate the final code for use on the aircraft
  • Continuously integrate and test your code
  • Track progress and report to key stakeholders
  • Qualify the final flight control software for use

Who You Are:
  • You're a Master's student or graduate in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
  • You have hands-on experience with flight control systems
  • You're an expert in control theory, flight control concepts, and the flight dynamics of electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicles (eVTOLs)
  • You're an expert in MATLAB/Simulink and C programming
  • Use Polarion and GIT for version control (bonus)

Important Note:
This position requires a security clearance (Ü2-Sabotageschutz) with approval based on specific residency requirements.

In return, they can offer:
  • Initial starting salary of between €60k and €70k depending on experience (with a view for this to increase in line with planned business growth)
  • The chance to work with a young and fast-growing company from a very early stage
  • LOTS of training/development opportunities
  • Top of the range office location near Munich
