Job Title: Second Line Support Engineer
Location: Newton Abbot
Salary Range: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum

Job Responsibilities:
As a Second Line Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing first-line technical support to clients via phone, email, and chat.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to cloud technologies, Azure, and the Microsoft tech stack.
  • Assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software and hardware systems.
  • Collaborating with other team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Documenting support activities, including issue resolution and troubleshooting steps.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a technical support role, preferably as a First Line Support Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with cloud technologies, particularly Azure.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft tech stack, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals would be a plus.
