Job description

I am on the hunt for a Marketing and Events Manager to join a vibrant, friendly media communications team based in Hertfordshire.

This company specialises in the medical sector and they have a huge number of contacts in the community. Following a period of growth, they are looking for an Events and Marketing Manager to come on board and work to deliver the marketing agenda for 2023, alongside the marketing program for shows and awards around the UK and Ireland.

The right candidate will have strong social media and content marketing skills, as well as be a whizz at events marketing.

Location: Hertfordshire (4 days in office one from home)
Salary: Up to £38,000

  • At least two years of experience in a similar role 
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team, ensuring all channels are covered when developing the marketing strategy
  • Happy to take responsibility for the direct mailing schedule relating to events and awards
  • Confident and a strong communicator, happy to manage relationships with speakers ensuring a timely promotion of events
  • Strong social media and content skills, happy to take responsibility for social media coverage at events and awards
  • Capable of collating marketing materials for events and awards shows, working with internal teams to develop strong collateral 
  • WordPress experience is beneficial in order to update the webpages on upcoming events and wards
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Happy to work evenings and weekends where required for events/awards (time off in lieu given for weekends)
