Environmental Business Analyst | Carbon Footprinting, Data Insights | Berlin

My client is an innovative tech-for-good start-up based in Berlin. With almost a third of global greenhouse gases coming from food production, this cutting-edge software provider is at the forefront of the solution securing funding of over €10 million in just 2 years.  They require a Business Analyst to help their clients understand the climate data insights in order to set an accurate and achievable Net Zero target.
 
The role

• Conduct calculations to work out carbon footprints for several different clients
• Work closely with their client base ensuring accurate data collection, calculations and data analysis
• Produce insights from the calculations to be used for Net Zero target plans
• Keeping up to date with the latest environmental regulations and protocols
• Create “products” from the calculations to offer the same service to future clients

 
Skills and experience required

• At least 3 years’ experience with client facing positions
• Previous experience in consulting start-ups (or other fast paced environments)
• Strong skills in complex datasets and quantitative analysis
• Any experience in carbon footprint calculations would be valuable
• Fluent in both German and English
