Electrical Fitter

Position: Electrical Fitter (HV & LV)
Location: North West
Salary: £250-300 per day

Job Summary: Our client are looking for an experienced Electrical Fitter to install, maintain, and repair HV and LV electrical systems. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation:
  
  • Install HV and LV wiring, circuits, switchgear, transformers, and related equipment.
  • Set up control panels, switchboards, and distribution boards.
  • Follow blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Maintenance and Repair:
  
  • Perform routine maintenance on HV and LV systems.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults.
  • Replace or repair faulty components.
• Testing and Inspection:
  
  • Test electrical systems for functionality and safety.
  • Inspect installations for code and safety compliance.
  • Report any issues found during inspections.
• Safety Compliance:
  
  • Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Participate in safety training.
• Collaboration:
  
  • Work with other tradespeople, engineers, and project managers.
  • Communicate progress and issues with team members and supervisors.
  • Guide apprentices and junior fitters.

• AWP-08 - Transformer LV Bars and ACB Work
• AWP-09 - Electrotechnical Work in Panels
