Data Engineer
Location: Warrington (5 days a week on-site)
Salary: Up to £50,000
*This role will provide training to work with either Machine Learning or A.I

Opportunity / Responsibilities
This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
- Explore and extract data from multiple sources and interrogate this data to create meaningful insights
- Gather and validate reporting requests from the business and update the business on data improvements
- Generate databases from various sources of structured and unstructured data
- Analyse data and generate statistical information to identify trends and patterns
- Provide user support services to ensure problems are remediated quickly and effectively
- Assist in the development of the BI strategy to ensure that BI capabilities match the long-term strategic aims of the business
Essential
- Significant experience of Business Intelligence systems, including maintenance and development of these systems
- Knowledge of Power BI or BI software
- Excellent planning, analytical, organisational, project management and decision making skills
- Able to understand and analyse complex data sets
- Excellent prioritisation and time management abilities
- Excellent knowledge of English (verbal and in writing)
- Able to form relationships with wide range of people and strong team player with collaboration skills on an international level
- Strong knowledge of and experience with databases and structured query language (SQL) • Relevant degree or similar
Desirable
- Experience of working in a healthcare industry
- Experience or certification in Machine Learning and/or AI
- Azure
Experience:
- Maintenance and development of BI systems: 3 years (required)
- analysis of complex data sets: 3 years (required)
