Role: Azure Cloud Engineer
Location: Fully remote (UK)
Salary: Up to 65k DOE
I am looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer for a fantastic Managed Service Provider! This role is fully remote, and the client is based in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Cloud Engineer who is experienced working with the Microsoft Tech Stack to join a company that is going to push for progression!

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure and scalable Azure infrastructure solutions, leveraging infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS) offerings.
- Migrate existing on-premises workloads (including VMware) to the Azure cloud, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition.
- Manage and optimize Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security services.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
- Configure and manage Azure Active Directory (AAD) for secure access and identity management.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Azure deployments, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., network engineers) and external clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Azure technologies and best practices.
To be successful in this role, you'll possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.
- Experience with Azure Active Directory and identity management.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies (e.g., Windows Server, Active Directory) is a plus.
- Experience with VMware technologies is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for learning and staying current with evolving cloud technologies.
- Azure certifications (AZ) are desirable
