Electronic Design Engineer

Chester£40000 - £45000 per annum

A Software house is looking to grow its Electronics team for its latest AI-based safety products. You will be responsible for working closely with their Software Team & CTO - ultimately creating brilliant functional experiences that help keep the end-user safe!The team is currently made up of 4. With a strong full-stack team, you will be joining a tight-knit unit that is accustomed to delivering on key projects.Role: Electronic Design EngineerLocation: Chester (3 days Onsite in Office)Salary: £40,000 - £45,000Essential Skills:Solid electronics engineering background: This means you can breathe circuits and speak fluent voltage!Digital tech guru: Experience with modern marvels like System-on-modules (SOMs), 4G/GPS modules, and HDMI is a must.Wireless whiz: Knowledge of Bluetooth and WiFi is a plus.Wired for success: Understanding of ethernet and experience in automotive/industrial applications is a bonus.Degree in Electronics Engineering (or similar) is a must.Commercial experience: You've thrived in a fast-paced environment designing complex electronic products.Technical powerhouse: You can showcase deep knowledge across various technical areas like automotive digital systems design (think ethernet, memory, communications).Power player: Experience designing power supplies is a big win.Lab legend: Debugging prototypes with firmware engineers and wielding modern oscilloscopes and logic analyzers is your jam.ECAD extraordinaire: You're an experienced user of ECAD software.Collaboration champion: You're familiar with modern tools like Confluence and Jira to streamline the development process.Automotive advantage (bonus): Experience in the automotive industry, especially where critical listening was key in the design process, will put you ahead of the pack.If you would like to be considered for this role please apply and we will be in touch!

This role will sit within their Data & Analytics Department and will require an analytical mind to drive Insights from a range of data sets.You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver high-quality datasets and reports. As an Insights Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping make data-driven decisions and driving continuous improvement.Salary: up to £45,000 per annumLocation: Birmingham (Remote working once per week) - with some remote working.The role holder will be responsible for:Proactively analysing large and complex datasets to identify actionable insights and trendsCollaborating with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality datasets and reportsDeveloping and maintaining data visualisations and dashboards to support data-driven decision-makingProviding recommendations based on data analysis to drive business improvementsIdentifying and suggesting process improvements to enhance data quality and optimise data collection and reportingPresenting findings and insights to key stakeholders in a clear and concise mannerExploring and evaluating new tools and technologies to improve data analysis and reporting capabilitiesEssential Requirements:Strong experience in data analysis and insights reportingExperience using data management or reporting software such as Power BI, Tableau, FastStats, SQL, Excel/VBA, Microsoft Power Tools.Experience with syndicated data tools (e.g. Neilsen, YouGov, GWI, Kantar, Statista, Blinkfire, Hookit)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work with large and complex datasetsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExperience collaborating with stakeholders and delivering high-quality datasets and reportsAbility to communicate complex findings and insights to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and projectsPlease apply if you deem yourself to be suitable!
